Yup, the new rules are idiotic, but somehow I didn't expect anything better ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ it's certainly easier to ban every external pic than design a image-analysing system. It's not even worth commenting. I spent my weekend without NC-socializing and when I came back, I jumped right back into complain flood and lost some time on that and it really changes nothing and after all I've got to work on my pre-funeral circus pics to faster leave in style

I understand the need for the new rules, and I think the idea is good… but it’s gonna be much more expensive submitting to challenges now, tough for non Pro users. I just wish the new rules weren’t so strict. I made around 70% of my pictures with NO external start image, but because I evolve and duplicate so much, I delete A LOT (I’m tidy and I have anxiety, I always liked to keep my Archive as a folder for future publishing pics, not a garbage bin). So now I can’t use any of my old pictures anymore, not even for new theme. 😢😢

Oh, that is exactly how I am. I get very frustrated now I can't delete all the rubbish. The collections and creations system is already time consuming and messy as it is. But I guess I understand the need for tighter rules.

I just wish they weren’t so strict… I mean, they involve pictures with NO starters at all, even fully in DALLE (if they have deleted passages), which I think is extreme personally. And I can’t look at my Archive anymore, or my anxiety is gonna spike through the roof! 😅 So I hope they’ll eventually do something to ease the situation a bit. ☺️

Well, I'm a little less forgiving about the changes, it's a big difference between using an original MJ creation with an empty mask and totally changing a start image (no matter of its origin). In my opinion changing crappy rules to another crappy rules, isn't a solution, but as I said - it's not worth one's frustration or even comments

I never used MJ pictures here, but I used a few from HuggingFace or Mini Dalle, so I agree that once rendered in NC they can change COMPLETELY even at super low noise weight 😂… and it’s different than just inpainting a pixel in an external picture. But some anti-cheating rules had to be implemented, maybe there was no other choice? 😞

Yes! I always delete all my bad creations and archive the new ones but if I have a creation that didn't get that many likes, I will delete it but now that evolves of that won't be accepted I simply can't. My OCD brain is killing me right now

Yes! 😄 This was made entirely in NC, like A LOT of my stuff (sometimes I don't even use starters), though for my hamsters I often used my photos of them ❤️, edited in PS to increase the contrast. Sometimes I generated photos with Mini DALL-E, that I then evolved multiple times in NC.

For this one I made a DALL-E starter in NC, then evolved it a few times in Stable. I now keep EVERY PASSAGE (every discarded picture, every intermediate step), according to the NC new challenge rules. ☺️
