The damaged eyes are a cool detail. And the way she's standing slightly unevenly really conveys her brokenness.

Nyx's damaged synthetic eyes scanned the debris-strewn landscape, searching for any salvageable parts that could mend her broken body. 

But the world was a cruel and unforgiving place, and the alien stragglers who laid waste to Vendikar were ruthless scavengers of her incredibly rare interlink sequencer.

As she sifted through the wreckage, memories of the invasion flooded her positronic matrix; of the screams of the dying tormenting her audio input. She had been one of the lucky few to survive, but at a terrible cost. Her once-human flesh had been torn asunder, replaced by cold, unfeeling steel.
