The Observatory of Divine Error (Grok)

The stars were never wrong. That was the first lesson, and the last comfort. She has knelt here since the calculations failed, since the astrolabe froze mid-answer and the constellations above began to drift from their appointed paths. The candles do not judge. The brass instruments hold their silence. Above her, in glass and fractured light, angels tend to heavens that no longer obey.

Stella Errans. Wandering star. The ancients named them for their defiance of order, celestial bodies that moved when they should have been still, that answered to a different mathematics. They were not errors. They were the universe thinking for itself.

She understands this now. The observatory was never built to find perfection. It was built to witness, with patience and candlelight, the beauty of what cannot be predicted.

Lux in Tenebris. Light in darkness. Always.
