MUERTE APLAZADA is a poem by Dámaso Alonso, from his book OSCURA NOTICIA.
Pages 89 and 90 from the second edition of OSCURA NOTICIA & HOMBRE Y DIOS by ESPASA-CALPE in Colección Austral Nr. 1290. Printed in 1971. The first edition is from 1959.
This first stanza i've used in Spanish says:
Evening without a flower.
Slow trail.
The plain scorching its yellow brooms.
Howling, afar, the ferocious packs of the summer.
