Track Announcer: "Would Marina de Silva from Speed West Porsche Racing please step forward to meet the President of the ACO on the podium?"

[pauses while Marina shyly comes forward, shrugs her shoulders at her teammates]

ACO President: "Speaking for both organizations, I would like to present Marina de Silva with the ACO Spirit of Le Mans Trophy and the FIA has chosen to award her with FIA President's Medal to recognize her brave act in extracting Aston Martin GT3 driver Mark Easton from his burning car. Marina, you represent the very best spirit of Le Mans and endurance racing, reminding us all of what is important in all sport!"

Marina: "I don't know what to say. I'm not a hero, but I will accept these awards, not for myself, but on behalf of all my teammates. I may have been at the accident with Mark, but these women, they were with me, too, lending me their love and their brave spirits. I couldn't have done what I did without them."
