Having discarded her red wig, the little doll slips between the paint pots toward the half-open door. She is agile and quick, sometimes seeming almost immaterial. From the Mansion, the Landlady is doing everything in her power to control this little girl. Some of her oldest sisters are helping in this effort.
[💢Story part] After squeezing through the crack in the door, she finds herself in a hallway. It is quiet and silent here, with hardly any noise coming in from outside. A silence that harbors something subtly threatening. Or is it just a feeling triggered by the ghost doll's reaction? On the right side of the windowless hallway stretching out in front of her, she sees two doors. A sign is attached to the first of these two doors, on which the word “storage” is written. This door is closed. The second door, located further back, is also labeled and titled “kitchen,” which is half open. The smell of coffee and sweet pastries wafts out of this room.
The left side looks different. There she sees a door at the front, located at the back of a staircase. The way up the stairs is not in her field of vision, but it must be diagonally opposite the kitchen door. The door that is visible to her has “Cellar” written on it. This door is also closed.
