While this arachnid seeks to imitate some form of plant, those leafy appendages are actually blood filled membrane. This monstrous creature is much less a hunter and seeks to entrap and surprise its prey. If seen in time, running away immediately is the best option for survival; it's much less interested in a chase and would rather catch its meal in shock with a quick and paralyzing bile that it spits from its mouth.
