I've decided to stop hosting this challenge. It's become such a source of frustration for myself and for many people participating. I've continued hosting for this long because I know plenty of people still wish to participate. Unfortunately, that’s no longer enough to keep me going. If you or someone you know would like to take over for me as host, please let me know and I'll pass over ownership of the chat room to you/them. Thank you to those of you who have been kind and understanding despite the frustrations this challenge has presented.


Thanks for hosting it for so long. I don't think I would be a good replacement host as I have never hosted a challenge before and I have an unpredictable and often heavy work schedule. If you don't mind, what do you find frustrating about it?

No worries! I have already found somebody who wishes to take over for me. 

What I find taxing: i've gotten complaints from people that the rules are either too confusing or not moderated enough. I feel that the rules are essential for this challenge and unfortunately they're impossible to moderate completely. Getting the same complaint over and over and having to reexplain to people has become very exhausting. I find that people are often very understanding after I explain, but that there's always someone new who didn't seem in previous chat messages and asks the same questions or expresses the same complaints. I've also had people say cruel things to me because of it. There's such strong anger from some of the participants that I've had to report some people for cyber bullying.
