An Afrikaans idiom, especially for @oistar and @siobhantheonly 

Literally: such a mouth should get jam

"Bek" is an alternative for the word "mond", referring to the mouth.  Context would dictate whether its use is offensive of humorous.

The idiom would be used when someone says something particularly witty or profound.  "Well said! misses the mark.
