The composition suggests a communion between two men from a non-grasping, agenda-free basis.  Not knowing that one was a priest, I took the figures to be any two men who were capable of connecting at a level beyond skin, touch, or the use of any outer sense, awareness centered deeply enough that two men were one being.  I have never seen a similar image created with more sensitivity to the depths of where two can connect.  There is a sacredness about the entirety - the postures, the inward-centeredness, the innocence, the stillness.  It is prayer in image form.  I bow deeply...
