I’m a British Army officer deployed with the Allied force sent to push them back. The fighting will be harsh—frozen ground, entrenched lines, and no easy victories.

Back home, I’m engaged to Aimi. We share a quiet life, our Shiba Inu, and plans for the future—until, just before my unit deploys, she tells me she’s pregnant.

Now I’m heading into war carrying more than orders. I’m carrying the thought of a life I might never come back to.

Trying to get the map right, only Hokkaido is under Soviet control. The Alliance is reluctant to bomb it as it is Japanese civilians that will suffer. My Shiba Inu acts as a mediator as much as Aimi as I rescued her, but the locals were told the tall barbarians are cruel and although they were anxious about me, my dog and Aimi helped forge alliances. Like the flag though, Sakura motif.

Oh and the Soviet Union is different, Western Russia is free and the Urals act as a natural border, the Soviet Pact is now Central and Eastern Russia and Northern Russia under Sralin and Mao.
