Two friends were walking home
On a night-darkened road...
When suddenly from the forest
Emerged a bandit horde...
One lad did weep and wail,
Falling to his knees he paled:
"Please, don't hurt me, I will do
Anything you ask me to!"
The bandit chief then spoke,
His hands slid in his cloak,
- Here's a knife, now take in hand. If you wish to live then slay your friend!
A shriek then filled the air
As the knife pierced his friend's chest!
The bandit chief stood there
And calmly did attest:
- Seize the scoundrel. Tie him up tightly. Toss him in a pit with the corpse!
A strange command was given,
Yet without being driven
The killer and the deceased
Were seated there face to fасе!
Two friends were walking home!
On a night-darkened road!
When suddenly from the forest
