Popular in the early to mid 80's in Appalachia, Polecat's Party Place was rural America's answer to Chuck E Cheese and Showbiz Pizza, and it served american diner and comfort food. Cheeseburger's, french fries, fried chicken, sweet tea.
A few years in to Polecat's heyday, children started to... appear. End of several nights, when employees went to close up shop, they would find a child crying in the restaurant. Upon checking the surveilance video, they would see that child did not enter the restaurant, and none of the parents that had knew the child in any way.
Days later, representatives from an organization called IVRI Towers appeared and before opening time the next morning, every Polecat's Party Place was shuttered and closed permanently.
