Kassandra Scarlett sells her image as a socialite who writes gossip for the Hue County Gazette and can shoot or destroy a celebrity's career anytime.

In reality, she is a highly reputable investigative journalist who publishes under the name Natalia Cyan in the country's most important newspapers.

Her work has landed mobsters in jail, brought down hometown heroes, and exposed corruption plots throughout the country. Currently, she is trying to prove that the political career of the future Mayor, Green, has been financed with mafia money. 

For Scarlett, preserving her secret identity is paramount. No one, not even the tycoon Boddy Black, will jeopardize her investigation, career, and life.
