He looked at the mirror and saw the wrinkles on his face, the grey hairs on his head, and the sagging skin on his neck. He felt a pang of sadness and nostalgia, remembering the days when he was young and full of energy, when he could run and play and laugh without a care in the world. He wondered where the time had gone, and how he had become so old and frail.

She was his wife of fifty years, his soulmate, his best friend. She had aged with him, but he still saw her as the most beautiful woman in the world.
