Stunning image! I thought it was a giant strawberry in the thumbnail, and then I see the nest, Perfect photo! Makes me think of a surreal landscape with weaver colonies.
This is an eye opener for me, I have never really associated Weavers with the NW (but I havent travelled up thee much), I am more used to weavers in reeds along rivers. Great Karoo sunset!

Im my twisted mind, a fallen angel is burried on that spot. A tree has grown in it's angelic form. Crown of thorns, branch wings, heck even the center weaver nest could be the angels skull with empty sockets with the biblically accurate many many eyes. It's amazing how subjective it is.
