William rushed out of the palace and down several streets until he came to an old door in an old district of Cristalwatch. he knocked twice on the door, and a gruff voice came from the other side, "What's the password?"
"Come on, Vassar, you know it's me who else would it be? Besides, there is no password."
The door creaks on its hinges as it opens up, revealing the massive and imposing figure of a Minotaur. He carried a war hammer on his back that would put Ricard's to shame, a heavy looking gun strapped to his chest. He had one blind eye and wore minimal clothing. He waved William in through the doorway and took a lit lantern off a hook before shutting and bolting the door with a heavy wooden bar behind them.

They started down a long winding staircase. William's footfalls sounded noticeably heavier with each step, and his face grew more relaxed as he undid a spell that masked a part of his appearance as a dull mechanical whir and whoosh accompanied each footfall of his left foot.
Soon, they were in a large underground hangar well-lit by a steam-powered lighting system, illuminating a grand airship, the Onyx Javelin.
Standing before the ship was a tall, slender blue skinned elf with pale, almost white eyes, her clothing was black and tight, she was tapping her foot in annoyance as She saw William reach the bottom of the stairs. she went over and started waving her hands in a clear pattern that William, despite his studying, never quite understood. "I'm sorry, Jynnonwusre. You know that no matter how often you teach me, I'll never get your sign language."
