Ordinarily I limit the artist mods I use - and therefor isolate in the Compendium - to simply their full names, or at most "by Firstname Lastname". It's rare that I fuse their name with any other phrasal content when inducting them into in my massive databank of "favorite mods" (best NCS feature release ever BTW).
There are a very few exceptions: photography by Iwan Baan, portraiture by Julia Hetta, lovecraftian horror by Michael Whelan; these are a selection from the rare cases where I deviate from my usual formula (try the last one y'all's, you're gonna love it for any creepy subject matter even if you're not literally looking to depict Cthulhu). And here, Marianne North is so strongly associated with her botanical drawings that she joins the sparse selection of artists for whom synthesis between the nomenclatorial and the occupational is sensible (say that ten times fast ey?)
