This isn't the final version I'm going to use in challenges; I'm just testing out ways to create a mech like this. The final version will have an even number of arms and legs, lel. But I want to keep the crab-like proportions with a more spider-like design, which is hard to pull off. That eliminates one of the primary problems with mech design, which is the large targeting profile that some mecha, especially humanoids, have. The final product should have this color palette, but be designed a little more like this:
