I like it

She does not escape the rain. She is caught within it, shaped by it, carried forward as if the landscape itself had begun to move through her.

The paint holds everything. Thick, restless, almost carved. The rain is not depicted, it is inscribed, dragged across the surface in long, urgent strokes that refuse stillness. It cuts through the sky, through the trees, through her body, until figure and weather become inseparable.

Her dress, pale and fluid, absorbs this turbulence. It does not resist. It yields, gathers the wind, the weight, the motion of the ground beneath her. The silhouette remains legible, but only just, as if it might dissolve into the path she follows.

There is no true refuge here. The distant house lingers like an idea rather than a destination. What remains is movement, fragile yet continuous. She does not flee. She persists within the storm, held together by the very forces that threaten to undo her. 🌹⚜️☀️
