Fantasy Plant 33: Glowbloom

The glowbloom is yet another Hadean plant that only occurs in the lava zone. It produces crystalline seeds that give off a great deal of light when cooled to below 400 degrees C. A cubic cm of crystal gives off as much light as a liter of luminiferous aether with a half life of 15 years. These crystals are very valuable for their ability to produce so much light for so long, but are very expensive due to the difficulty in harvesting them.
