Saqala’tun

A monstrous spider-like entity Body Composition: Its body is an ashen gray, segmented, and hardened like petrified stone. Each of its eight legs ends in sharp, curved hooks. Head: Its head is covered in a crown of hardened spines, resembling a ceremonial headdress. Eight small, glowing amber eyes dot its face, and its fanged mandibles drip acidic saliva. Abdomen: The massive abdomen has ridges and circular patterns resembling a cracked skull. Size: At its largest, the Saqala’tun can grow up to 15 feet in diameter, including its outstretched legs. Habitat: nests in caves, ancient ruins, and dry desert wells across the Sahel and Northeastern Africa
