Beautiful graphite art! I admire animal art with graphite and coloured pencils IRL and have had some commissions over the years even though animal portraits aren’t my usual gig. Recently working more with pastel pencils on Pastelmat paper (which is like a fine gritted sandpaper paper that grabs pastel and allows layering) and loving it. I think my Dad’s parrot is next on the agenda for a Christmas pressie! Beautiful inspiration! 😁🤍🖤🦜

My medium of choice IRL is gouache and watercolour. Yet, I’m an Urban Sketcher to record real life things around my area, relatively quick interpretations that remind me of the event, sounds, smells, and feelings at that time, and I love mixed media so have been incorporating many different art supplies to play with. Quite partial to Neopastels at the moment… creamy, artist grade pigments, feel all loose and buttery and fun creating with a crayon as it does alter your mindset and let loose. Just me though! Thanks for the banter today, J, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it! 🤗
