Imagine world under Patrick Bateman's rules! 

If you've ever read the book, I'd argue that it's heavily suggested that Bateman's values are shaped by his admiration for Donald Trump and his material wealth. Especially in the scene where the detective (interestingly named "Donald Kimball") visits Bateman at his office, by the end of the chapter, the scene ends with Bateman directing the detective's attention to the copy of "The Art of the Deal" on his desk and asking if Kimball has read it, successfully deflecting the detective's line of questioning by emphasizing Bateman's own moral compass.

In any case, I'm glad you're checking out and appreciating this series. Obviously, I put a lot of thought into this, and I'm happy to receive any feedback.

I've read that book many years ago. Very depressing reading. Much darker than the movie. I have a feeling Patrick Bateman would be a libertarian these days. Like many people with psychopathic tendencies...
