Traumas fighting abundance

Well, this is challenging. I can think of at least 3 ways to interpret this image; so I'll go with the one that seems most obvious to me and we'll see where things land. Given your title, I think the 3 Trauma sisters are fighting to keep the potential abundance of the Universe from expanding in the mistaken belief that there isn't enough to go around, so they are fighting to contain it, insofar as it was done to them (hence, trauma). They believe it must be restricted to those who have already gotten a share despite the odds. They may believe that if they don't fight to keep the supply low, their share may be taken, or at least diminished. Generally speaking, we are not taught to share, in the belief that there will be less for all because there is a limited supply. Generalizing again, we are not taught that there will be enough for everyone if we all share. Am I close?
