Admittedly, when the first miniature wooly mammoths were introduced in the 1950s, it wasn't all upside.

They tended to become extremely jealous. When an adult showed affection toward any other, the mammoths raged.
They were famous for tusk goosing any recipient of affection, and/or blowing loud raspberries from their trunks.
They even resorted to pantsing males or lifting the dresses of ladies via trunk, and there was, of course, the ruined carpets.
They proved to be an utter embarrassment and the entire line was discontinued by 1958.
Good Riddance...
