This reminds me a little of drawings when I used a marker. Ages ago, I would look at a pic and draw as fast as I could in a minute although this drawing is much better than mine. Just the sharper lines brought back that memory. 

Agreed, doesn't look like a pencil was used. But I liked the result and using ZIT means you can iterate fast and cheap. And it kept to the intended more minimal rough unfinished aesthetic

I like this one bigger. Thumbnail size I didn't like it as much. But bigger I can see the dancers in the background more. I like the circles and the lines, reminds me of sketchbooks teaching me how to get perspective done better and then afterwards I'd smudge the lines to turn them into shading. 

Ah yes, thumbnails can be deceiving. Nearly always better in the next view or even largest possible view.

I think Ultra is pretty close to the intended outcome. I think it has the rough look, though maybe the artist has spent a little more time fleshing out some more details than I'd ideally want eg pocket flap and button on the jacket, collar and tie, details on her shoes.
