The Power Rangers make it to the control room and find Karone in her chair. At first, Andros and Zhane are relieved to see Karone safe and sound. However, that relief soon vanishes as Karone swivels from her chair and reveals cybernetic enhancements on her face. Karone has been forcibly turned back into Astronema, and the latter orders Ecliptor to attack them. Andros tries to get through to his sister, but Astronema discards the name Karone as Quantrons apprehend Andros. Zhane and Andros fight Ecliptor and the Quantrons in the control room, but the former knows they must leave before becoming prisoners. Andros refuses to leave Karone behind, but he reluctantly agrees with Zhane.
