#12 in the "Something Blue" daily challenge! Thank you all for being awesome! 💕

*For “Something Blue” (DC #955), I had no idea what to make, so I searched for anything tagged “blue” and pulled an image out of my archive. "Blue Moon Water Lilies" was one of several made during a brief water lily fad that I archived to give attention to at some later point.*

*Watching the score throughout the day, I was surprised and confused. Why was something archived months before getting so much love?*

*After the challenge ended, the flood of comments revealed why. The blueness of the image was obviously a hit, but what universally drew others in was the serenity. We all need that slice of zen at times, and this happened to be one of those moments. I took a closer look at the image, finally appreciating the calm beauty it portrays.*
