There are many lovely LoRAs within my Favorites that I explored enough to know they contained depths worth time and tattention. I made several images, only one or few ever posted, then made notes in my outliner about what I sensed was possible and suggestions for future prompts.
All now lost.
This is a very distinctive LoRA. It is hard to reconcile the fact still that none of these tools will be available more than one more day, if that.
Given the speed with which the SDXL Lora’s have been duplicated in Flux, I can’t image the creators won’t re-up their Lora’s when a model comes out that can, hopefully, do justice to the SDXL Lora’s we’re losing. I know this won’t be much use for those Lora’s made by folks who’ve since left, but it is a small glimmer of light that I’m choosing to hang on to.🙃
It's not a small glimmer.
There's the concern that DS3 would go the way of Dolly and Flux: a hard right into "that plasticy digital look." Early works produced with the test versions and Medium would seem to indicate a very strong well-developed improvement of what was best about SDXL with much needed improvements such a anatomical correctness and multi-tiered runtime options.
When this will be accesible and what the Fine-tuning options will be I do not know - but this is my fault for taking my eyes off that side of GAI for the past several months due to other concerns.
What is still not clear is why this hard, non-negotiable de-activation decision was made. Is the full, stable DS3 release imminent or was there another (possibly legal) reason to cut the power to Fine-tuning? Hopefully we shall have an answer to these questions before long.
Had a conversation about the built in limitations we’re noticing in flux - no celebrity portraits and no nsfw at this stage. It seems censorship comes built in with flux. The theory is that the existing models were a little too good and now there is a move to throttle them back. Artists also have no influence. So Flux has little chance if having a heart because it’s been surgically removed by the censors.
