Madness

It's horrible the things someone may see and hear in their own minds, oftentimes we will never know.

I used to work as a mental health therapist on a hospital Crisis Management Unit (Psych Unit) and worked with psychotic patients on a regular basis when they stopped taking their medicine or whose illnesses were especially resistant to treatment; they had many kinds of visual and auditory hallucinations and also delusional states (believing in things that aren't true despite evidence to the contrary). I feel deeply for all of those who deal with these issues.
