I couldn't find a reliable source to tell me the red land crab was an official symbol of Australia's external territory, Christmas Island, but it IS a distinctive local animal.
And Clarence (named after a certain movie angel) certainly seems like a friendly ambassador, doesn't he?
I mean, he's sorta dressed like Santa Claus (work with me here) ...
