I’ve been experimenting with “order of operations” with prompts and used the elements from this one in a different order and got some good first results. I feel relatively successful with a simple “first prompt” followed by the details that I want. The game changer was I saw someone’s prompt which included “_____ background” which just got me thinking in a different direction. I thought I’d share since you’re into experimentation like me.

I removed all of my negative prompts to see if it would help. I did get the image I wanted. This likeness is not it, but that doesn't really matter.
