Anyone planning to visit Wonderland should learn a bit of Riddlish, and Ms. Madeline Hatter has written a very helpful beginner’s guide, titled “Tempo 40.” A shorter guide would be this: break apart the sentence you wish to communicate, find synonyms or homonyms for each individual word, and put the sentence back together. For example, “Q loves Lemony” becomes “Almost R idolatries like citrus fruit.” Make sense? No? Well, that can’t be helped, I suppose.
