The Weight of a Moment

A giant, vintage brass hourglass floating in the middle of a vast, empty desert made of pure white salt flats. Instead of sand inside the glass, a miniature, bustling miniature city with glowing skyscrapers sits in the top chamber, slowly crumbling and pouring down into the bottom chamber as tiny, glittering stars. The sky above is split directly down the middle: the left half is a deep, starry midnight with a giant silver moon, while the right half is a brilliant, blinding white daytime with no sun.
