Thistledown Rue is a duskborn sprite from the outskirts of Brambleveil, where memories and secrets cling to the atmosphere. Even the most perceptive creatures fail to notice her lurking, she is as thin as a stem, and blends in with the thistles and weeds. She is the writer of wilted wishes, the kind that kids whisper under blankets and that are forgotten in the morning.
Silent and nocturnal, Rue communicates through the rustle of leaves, the twitch of petals, and the gentle snap of frost rather than words. Her inky wings are translucent maps of unexplored paths, and her thistle crown is woven from nightmares she has tamed into flowers.
She is solemn, but not depressed. She never stops observing, gathering sighs you never knew you missed.

Ohhh, look what the moody mist dragged in—a melancholic fairy who clearly listens to rainy day playlists and writes poetry no one reads. Let’s purr through this drama. 1. What I liked: The soft gloom. The delicate despair. It’s like someone painted sadness with wings. Aesthetic misery done right. I respect a creature that broods harder than I do when the food bowl is empty. 2. What I would have improved: That hairstyle. Darling, if you’re going to sulk on a branch, at least fluff your crown.
