When everyone else ran for cover as the rain started, she hesitated. She had been eyeing the pool all night and this was the perfect excuse. The heavy rain was already soaking her hair and yellow top and wouldn't be long before her white jeans were wet too. She made her way to the edge, paused to see of anyone was watching, then waded in and swam out and across the pool. When she got to the otherside, she climbed out and sat on the edge. Her outfit made the experience delightful and she was so glad she chose it for this! She wondered if she would have done the same had she worn something different. She decided it didn't matter, she was enjoying this and wondered how long before someone missed her and came looking. She giggled at the thought of being discovered in her wet clothes and boots. The event that was a bit of a bore was suddenly turning in to quite an exciting time.
