All the time !
 I made a rug when I was maybe 12ish It was a Native American pattern. You poked this big needle punch device, like a huge needle point, through a grid on the back side.  I made a Needle Point pillow once, too. I had to do these things in secret because I didn't want any of my stupid guy friends, at that time,  to think I was doing "girl stuff" . I did all my art in secret. I lived in two worlds. One,  juvenile delinquent, one, artist. Anyway, to the point about rugs,  I hung at silly rug on my walls for like 20 years. I've also hung my mother's quilts on the wall. Still do. I've used Persian rugs as a prompt many times. See what you do, you get me remembering stuff. Ha!
