_The best time to hunt one is during dark new moon nights. Take a sack that is open at both ends and hold it open with a branch. Place a lamp at the back opening. The Elwetritsche should now enter the front of the sack to get to the light and you can close the sack at the front ... unfortunately, the Elwetritsche usually escapes through the rear opening ... _
