Hopgrave Horror

Lore/Behavior: Hopgrave Horrors are the apex of their kind, often found leading packs of Bounders and Hoplings. Unlike their lesser kin, they show signs of cunning, choosing vantage points from which to ambush or feint. They prefer leaping into the middle of groups, sowing chaos, and dragging prey into the air before letting them drop to their doom. Some necromancers see them as champions, while others fear their independence—Horrors have been known to devour even their own lesser kind if they disobey. They embody the fusion of performance and slaughter, their movements resembling horrific mockeries of circus acts or war dancers. Their leaps are both a weapon and a display, as if each kill were part of an unholy performance for an unseen audience.
