"Skarlet? . . . Skarlet! Welcome to my humble emporium!"
Skarlet swung round at the sound of Senari's greeting. "Lovely to see you again, Senari"
"So is this a social call, or can I help with something?"
"Well . . .", Skarlet began and hesitated.
"It's OK, you're among friends,", encouraged Senari, "whatever it is".
"My publishers have arranged another book tour - signings, readings, parties. It's part of the job, and I do like it . . .", Skarlet paused.
Senari stepped closer, took her hands, mumuring, "You can tell me"
Skarlet took a deep breathe, and then blurted, "It's being hit on. It happens all the time". She blushed. "I do like a little . . . fun, but at my own choosing. I was hoping you might be able to help me, somehow, just to attract less attention"
"Oh, my love, that is quite an ask, you are soooo . . ."
"Senari!", Skarlet interjected.
"Sorry. Right. It is an unusual request. But let's step into my workroom, see what I can do . . ."
