I knew of the Armenian genocide but placing it in Syria led me to do a fact check. Thank you for driving me to revisit a darker chapter from the Twentieth Century.  Your creation, to me, was educational as well as being meritorious as a piece of art.  For this I thank you.

Thank you for taking the time to read more about it. It's very sad. There was a lot of forced sexual violence and sexual slavery as well, where they took the women and forced them into Muslim homes to become wives and give birth to Muslim children. They then couldn't (and in some cases wouldn't leave) as patriarchal families wouldn't accept them back and they didn't want to leave their children. It was a genocide on many levels.

Because of the Armenian Genocide, the term genocide was actually coined by Raphael Lemkin. We didn't actually have that word in use before then. 

I think the Armenian Genocide is one of those atrocities that countries (in this case Turkey) can diminish only because of that country's power in current international politics.

On the art value of this...very impressive. I have a huge difficulty in creating a large number of "characters" in a scene doing anything that looks realistic. Tell me your prompt secret! I want to do one of those "medieval army attacking castle" scenes, for example.
