When I decided to make a mermaid, I wanted to be sure she wouldn't just look like a second-rate knockoff of Disney's Little Mermaid. So I told the AI to make her Nigerian, and to give her a blue fishtail (instead of green). 

I figure this Nigerian mermaid enjoys keeping current with the world of fashion, but reading and storing a bunch of magazines at the bottom of the Central Atlantic just doesn't work very well, so she makes twice-a-month visits to a beach to collect her mail and enjoy reading it before she dives into the surf and heads back home.
