Sorry in advance for the really long comment. When I was in like third grade my friend told me this riddle. “Mr. (Rich Dude Name) was murdered on the second floor of his circular house. The police interviewed the wife, the maid/cook, and the butler. The butler said he was reading in the corner. The wife said she was taking a nap. The maid/cook said they were preparing dinner. Who killed Mr. (Rich Dude Name)?”
I was either smart or the answer was really obvious. I said the butler did it because it was a circular house—it didn’t have any corners. My friend said immediately, “No.”
They said it was actually the maid/cook, because it was ALWAYS the maid who got fed up and decided to say bye-bye to master a little ahead of schedule.
So once again apologies for the suuuuuper long comment, just wanted to say with all that talking that I think people give the maid too much credit and that maybe the butler lurking in the corner should have a few more eyes on them…
