Ah damn it here it comes creeping back,
That terrible feeling like a heart attack,
Unsure what to do to deal with the stresses,
Lost with no clue how to clean all these messes,
'Overwhelmed by the simple' maybe some say,
Just a wreck of a person each and every day,
Do I lean too much or possibly too little,
On friends with no faces who might find me brittle?
I don't want to pester and I don't want to need,
Nor do I wish to make you watch me bleed,
Maybe I'm clinging to the tiniest of hope,
That somehow I'm not at the end of my rope.
