SDXL seems to do what it wants. I'm not here to prompt something and then waiting for the roulette to turn and stop on a random number.

To be an alpha-test (it's way too behind and way too unpredictable to be called "beta"), it's incredibly expensive in terms of credits -- at this early stage of development it should be completely free, not costing 3 times the "normal" Stable 1.5.

Plus (and this is personal), it seems to prefer the "illustration" style, and a kind of illustration that I (personally) find silly and childish and that I never wanted to seek in any of my creations.

So, I will publish another couple of tries I did today, then -- starting tomorrow -- I will leave SDXL to all the happy volunteers that, exactly as it happens with the Daily Carnage (pardon, Challenge), are willing to leave on the blackjack table 50/60 credits to obtain something decent.

Ah, I forgot another thing: it forces me to use the HORRIBLE new interface. This alone  would be enough to stop my using it.

It is cute - but if cute isn't your style...  

I had to try seriously SDXL... so I thought to re-do my Top-rated creations by passing the prompts (exactly as they were!) in the new model (and using the creation as a Start Image).

I tackled the SteamKitten that is second-best in my Top Creations. Nope. No way. This time it didn't work at all -- I mean, I like this one (and quite a lot), but hey! It's a HUMAN BEING!

Hey DarthPodling. Check out my reverse engineered Jane Fonda. Just created it. I've worked out that any cartoony SDXL image can be changed back to near life-like. All you have to do is evolve the image, set the noise to 10% (on the source image). Set the prompt weight to 70% and hey presto. My version of Barbarella only took two attempts! let me know what you think. This process has already worked for 5 other cartoony SXDL images.

I agree yours looks more live-action. I'll give it a whirl one weekend. ;)
