Echoes

Behavior:

Primary Goal: Lure hosts deeper into parasitic territory, leading them to highly infected areas.

Abilities: Echoes can mimic voices and mannerisms from the host’s past, calling the player’s name or manifesting as familiar faces. These illusions can temporarily “possess” the player, altering their perception of reality. Echoes can distort paths and layouts, disorienting players to lead them into traps or ambushes.

Weaknesses: Echoes are disrupted by direct confrontation with the real world (e.g., mirrors reveal their true, parasitic nature). The player can use fire or intense lights to dispel Echoes temporarily, forcing them to retreat into walls or shadows.
