What is your vision for Linklater Park? Surely its happy dogs, happy children and happy adults :) How can we make it work for everyone? Including the following: 1. Adults currently scared of dogs; 2. Children currently nervous around dogs (we do need to look after these people, and perhaps we already do?); Next, 3. Dogs! They are our furry friends and help lazy adults to get out in the fresh air now and again; 4. Happy dog owners - easily pleased with a common sense approach to consultation; 5. PNCC staff: they don't want complaints all day! They'd rather our town was well-known for its flexibility, accommodation of all kinds of people and happiness. Let's start with a vision like this and find our way back to the natural starting point for all of these wants. Perhaps by taking this approach we will have fewer and fewer adults and children who are nervous around dogs and more and more people who want to just go and watch the happiness unfold from safety of the areas we create together.
