This explored the story about an incidental day.
It began as a happy day with sunshine shimmered on the lake. A mischievous glint in her eye mimicked the fantastic view.
"Remember," she teased, "One splash and I'm a mermaid!"
Boyfriend, bookish and bronzed, scoffed. "Prove it then, fins to the water!"
She did, with a dramatic swan dive that sent spray like fireworks.
He waited, chuckling, but only silence answered. Several seconds passed and the water was getting calmer. No ripple and No bubble. She might not breathing. Panic bloomed on his face.
Then, a giggle broke the surface, followed by a bubble-crowned head. "Told ya!" she hooted, dripping but delighted.
His relief melted into exasperation. "You could've drowned!" But as he pulled her in, laughing too hard to scold, both of them knew that sometimes, a sprinkle of playful chaos can add the fizz to a love story.
PS.: It is an evolved version. It's a pity that the face features are not as lovely as the original image.
