Another depiction of a figure from Norse Mythology. This one is Iðunn, wardress of the golden apples of youth. It was these magical apples which allowed the gods of Asgarð to ward off the effects of old age, and only Iðunn knew the location of their sacred grove. When she was kidnapped by a greedy giant, it caused much strife in Asgarð.
